What do I mean by that? Well at times Alois will come off very cocky about his life and how he happens to control it. It’s not often that happens, and I think it’s a major plus. The plot to the series was as detailed as the overall story, so I couldn’t help but want more and more after each episode.Īs for the second season to me it seems Alois Trancy is more on spoiled/extreme thinker. Even while typing this, I want to watch the series again, which is saying something. Within each episode, you learn more about Ciel, the people who killed his parents, and more. While the story progressed, the series did provide a good amount of action without taking away from the plot. One such episode, for example, focused on the butler entering a cooking contest. Even with such a dark theme, you will find yourself laughing at times. Overall, every moment of the series pulled me in more and more. He wants revenge on the people who hurt him and thinks that doing so will bring him happiness, even after promising his soul to a demon. I don’t blame him one bit for not being able to smile or be happy, because losing your family is a very traumatic event, especially at such a young age. Ciel Phantomhive is a hard-ass with few happy emotions due to the death of his family. I enjoyed every moment of Black Butler, from start to finish. Do you want to know more?
